The LEC Translate system can simplify all of your translation tasks. Whether you want to understand a document better, translate an entire folder of documents, or have a few words translated into a foreign language, the LEC Translate tools will help.

LEC Translate Chinese comes in 3 versions:

• Choose the PERSONAL version for easy and cost-effective translation of simple text, emails, web pages, chat, blogs, and instant messages.
• Choose the BUSINESS version if you need to translate MS Office documents or your text includes business terminology.
• Choose the PRO version if your text contain specialized professional terminology and you require the highest possible accuracy and greatest control over translation.

LEC Translate 2007 Chinese features:

All versions (Personal, Business, and Pro):

• Support of the 2 main Chinese dialects: Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Support of both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
   
• A new standard for speed and accuracy in automatic translation; a powerful combination of a state-of-the-art translation engine with point-and-click simplicity.
• LogoTrans, an application for quick translating small amount of text. Translate as you type—a few sentences, paragraphs or a whole text.
• Web Page Translation - either through the Translate Toolbar for Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox (new) or the Translation Mirror application.
• ClipTrans translates any text which is selected and copied. Paired with a new function which automatically identifies the source language, users with multilingual packages can easily and quickly translate email, text, instant messages and web pages.
• MirrorTrans, a window on your desktop where translation of your primary window appears. Use it to translate web pages, email or documents.
• Translate Toolbar for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox (new), allowing you to translate web pages from Internet Explorer and the Firefox Web browser with a single mouse click.
• TransIt, an application for quick translating a word, phrase, or sentence. Translate a sentence or two and then pop the translation into another application. Use it for chat or to instantly translate arriving messages.
• New: Automatic Detection of the Source Language provides quick, easy translation of multilingual text. With Automatic Selection of Source Language selected, you simply select and copy text, and ClipTrans automatically translates it to your translation language.
• System Dictionaries containing 301,000 entries for English to Chinese and 374,000 entries for Chinese to English.
• Control Center for launching and configuring LEC specialized applications for translation of text, files, email, chat, instant messages, or web pages. The control center also includes its own text box for text translation.
• Translate DotNet, a gateway to the LEC's unique online translation of all LEC languages: Arabic, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Dutch, English, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and now also allows translation from Indonesian, Pashto or Tagalog to English.
• One month Universal Subscription to Translate DotNet, a $40 value. 

BUSINESS and PRO versions only (in addition to the above):

• MS Office Plug-ins (including Office 2007 (new)), a key to using the LEC Translate translation tools with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel,  Internet Explorer, and Outlook (new). These Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Outlook add-ins allow you to translate directly within these applications and save the translated versions as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HTML (web page) files.

• New: Untranslated Word List/Lookup. LogoTrans displays a window listing all words which have no translation in any loaded dictionaries and saves the list to a file. This helps to create dictionaries and improve translation accuracy. The Dictionary program analyzes text files and produces a list of all words that are not in any loaded dictionary, making it easier to add new entries to a user dictionary.
